在我无忧无虑的童年里，趣事可真不少，每一件都能让我回味无穷，可令我记忆犹新的还是捉螳螂。
记得上次我和爸爸妈妈一起捉螳螂。我们猫着腰，在草地里东瞅瞅，西瞧瞧，拿着木杆一片一片叶子敲打着，叶子仿佛把一切全部染成了绿色，让这次行动更加困难。我因为是初次捉螳螂，并不知如何是好，就边跑边叫：“螳螂螳螂快出来!”正在这时，妈妈叫住了我，抚摸着我的头说：“因为螳螂有件保护衣，能与叶子融为一体，几乎一样，所以只有用心观察才能发现。”听了妈妈的话，我拿了根木棍，也学着蹑手蹑脚地找了起来。时间一分一秒的过去了，可我却连个影都没看到，这家伙真是神出鬼没，着急的我像热锅上的蚂蚁。正在这时，我看见什么动了一下，本以为是纺织娘就没怎么注意。可这时妈妈大叫一声：“顺子，看后面!”只见一只全身翠绿，挥动两把大刀，两只小眼睛恶狠狠的螳螂出现在我面前，真是机不可失，要“先下手为强”，便想挟住它的脖子，可它一挥大刀朝我的手一划，呀，我的手上竟出现了一个小血珠。敢跟我斗，看我怎样收拾你!我伸出“魔爪”快速向它靠去。这时，螳螂似乎也察觉到了危险，以迅雷不及掩耳之势逃得无影无踪。爸爸闻声赶来，只见他拿了一根棍子说要和螳螂大战一番，可这狡猾的对手却不见了。
