Watching the "revolution of 1911" was on the afternoon of its premiere. After attending a colleague's wedding at noon, I went straight to the cinema. She wanted to go with a colleague, but she had no interest in this history, so she had to go alone. She was surprised by another colleague and said that I had a hobby of watching movies. Well, actually, it's the first time I've been to a movie alone. I didn't want to write about the impressions, because I saw a lot of film reviews. The depth of my thoughts is really embarrassing. Later, I thought that if I didn't write down anything, I would not remember anything in a few days.
There are only seven people in the cinema. It may be because of the weekdays, or because films like wall painting and white snake in the same period are more attractive to the audience. After reading the introduction before, I learned that the film is composed of Huanghuagang uprising, Wuchang Uprising, Yangxia defense war and North South negotiation. The Huanghuagang uprising in Guangzhou, which I recited when I was reading, is more of a symbolic thing. After watching the film, the images of revolutionary figures who participated in the Huanghuagang uprising became vivid, and the original sense of political symbolization was somewhat dispelled. They were also in the prime of their lives and full of vigor. They never looked back on the revolutionary cause they believed in. It is really admirable and enviable at the same time. In today's money fetishism is prevailing, it is probably difficult to find the kind of faith and cause that people can pursue all their lives, willingly throw their heads and shed blood. Because I am in Wuhan and pay more attention to Wuchang Uprising, I feel a little disappointed in the interpretation of Wuchang Uprising in the film. For example, Peng Liu Yang died in the righteousness, and the twists and turns before the uprising were not shown. Of course, the length of the film is limited, and it is impossible to cover all aspects. However, there are a lot of scenes about the emotional entanglement between Xu Zonghan and Huang Xing. I wonder if it is to show that the revolutionaries are ordinary people with flesh and blood, seven passions and six desires, and love for children and daughters. Therefore, it is necessary to write a bloody romance. But after watching the whole film, I always feel that the feelings of the two people do not match the whole film. It is said that these scenes are also abridged, otherwise there will be more.
Judging from the performance of the characters in the film, the most impressive one is the role of Sun Yat Sen played by Zhao wenu. In my opinion, it can be said that it is similar in form and spirit. In particular, several speeches and English dialogues with foreign banking groups have a strong momentum and a strong shock. With this excellent eloquence and persuasion, it is no wonder that he had a lot of followers in those years, and he was always able to make some achievements in overseas fund-raising. In addition, although Yuan Shikai and Empress Dowager Longyu did not have many parts, they also gave me a deep impression. It can be said that they vividly reappeared the characters' characters. It's just that Jackie Chan's role of Huang Xing is a little different in form. It can only be said that he has always played the image of "tough guy" again. Many other revolutionary figures and officials of the Qing Dynasty thought that they knew a lot about this history, but to be honest, I didn't really have a deep impression in the film. So I understand that colleagues who are unwilling to come to watch the film. If they don't understand the history, these characters alone will make people confused.
I'm ashamed that I didn't go to see the "great cause of the founding of the people's Republic" and "the great cause of the founding of the Communist Party of China" before. On the contrary, when the two sides of the Taiwan Strait were not unified for a hundred years, we could make such a film to restore the history at that time and to see the progress of social ideology. Only if the democracy and republicanism proposed by the revolution of 1911 can really be achieved, we can only look forward to another hundred years.
