In my spare time, I read a book called Tangshan earthquake. After reading it, I was greatly shocked!

The disaster that happened many years ago, from brewing, happening, ending to reconstruction, everything seems to be resurrected in Mr. Qian Gang's works. Moving stories and characters who have experienced the baptism of disaster all appear in front of me. It's like I participated in it and witnessed it? It was the worst natural disaster in human history.

It's really a catastrophe. The author did not add any exaggeration or exaggeration. He only used the most realistic method to write down the feelings of several people who had experienced the earthquake personally, and extract the death toll and the scope of influence of the earthquake. It has taught people how tragic it is. I hope it's all false.

There are many stories about the victims in the book, some of which impressed me deeply. In the second chapter, the author's interview notes recorded this incident: a child was injured in the earthquake, and a large piece of scalp was lifted, which was full of sand. The disaster relief personnel went to wash him with water, and every time he washed it, the child would twitch. Reading this paragraph, I almost shed tears, it is just a child, a child should be innocent, but have to bear? It's so sad that adults can't bear the pain! Two other stories filled my eyes with tears: the nurse who was pressed down by the floor and couldn't get out of danger, and Dr. Ren who knew that the patient couldn't be saved, but still had to do his best to treat him. All three things make people feel so sorry and helpless.

However, the greatest value of this book is not in these touching stories, but in the profound experience brought to us by those stories, and the stern warning given to mankind by those piles of statistical data. The first chapter of the book has already given us a message: how stupid and numb human beings are. At the beginning, the author described many anomalies before the earthquake. A large group of mice migrated, a large group of insects flew away The unusual behavior of dogs and so on, does it mean that human beings are inferior to animals? Animals can also feel the coming of an earthquake, but human beings, who have always regarded themselves as the spirit of all things, do not even feel it at all. What's the matter? It's the evolution of thousands of years that makes us lose the most basic knowledge

Is the animal instinct harmful? But this is not the most humiliating place for human beings. The most shameful thing is the omnipotent idea of science and technology that we have always been proud of. Humans rely too much on it. They see a lot of unusual things happening, but they don't worry at all. Because the instruments we trust don't move, so nothing will happen. As a result, the instrument, which has been regarded as the most precious by human beings, has been sold. We should reflect on whether the increasingly developed technology is the poison that accelerates our demise? What's more, can the so-called new technology products and modern buildings resist the forces of nature? With the scientific knowledge accumulated over thousands of years, the building has been completely destroyed by nature in just a few minutes. Is it necessary for people to wake up and stop completely relying on these unreliable things!
